For Hildegard of Bingen- abbess, philosopher,
teacher, theologian, zoologist, botanist, medical scientist,
physicist, dramatist, painter, poet, composer, visionary, advisor
of popes, counselor of kings and "A Feather on the Breath
of God" - immortality is nothing compared to her life and
works.
After discovering this remarkable woman through her music (77
original compositions and a passion play!) I began researching
her life. What I discovered astonished me. She was a light
in the dark ages and a historical figure who could bring inspiration
to modern women and men everywhere. First, I played with
the notion of creating a one-woman show, but then after further
research, I realized that her multi-media life demanded a bigger
vehicle - a feature film. So, together with writer and
friend, Stephanie Meyer, we began the journey of telling her
tale. We spent a good year researching texts in both German
and English, and each of us have made the trip to Germany to
walk the land she walked and to see and feel her roots.
She has been my mentor and my muse and it is my deepest desire
to see her story come to life.

PG MOVIE is an original screenplay written by writer/director
Senthil Kumar from a story I had "drop down" almost
12 years ago. It's a sort of spiritual "Alice In
Wonderland/Wizard of Oz" heroine's journey of West meets
East in this lush adventure tale of a young woman who reluctantly
follows the last wishes of her dead mother - that she take her
body to India to be cremated by a favored Guru.... I loved
this story, but always felt I had to travel to India for research
before I wrote it so it sat patiently in my idea file.
Then about two years ago, India came to me in the form of a
wonderfully talented young writer. We collaborated on
the screenplay and now are readying to take our own journey
to make this beautiful story a film. It will be Senthil's
debut as a director and mine as a feature Producer...
Investment money is on the way and we'll be producing it ourselves
with Richard Finney as our lead Producer.
