philip h horváth, producer and consultant for Bridge Arts Media, is a multi-talented compulsive creative and synthetic systems thinker. A counselor, coach, and consultant, all his activities are marked by three key components: immersion, integration, and innovation. philip began his career early on, programming databases in the health care sector where his father was a practicing physician. He exhibited an early interest in the use of technology to facilitate more efficient work process flows. Taking his twin interests in business management and technology to college, philip immersed himself in his business and management courses while simultaneously using his technical skills to restructure the reporting processes of the university's registrar office. His dedication and hard work led to academic scholarships, several years in a research and development think tank for cognitive sciences and academic technology, and a large-scale strategic planning effort in which he played a key role. Next, he joined a boutique consulting firm focusing on Fortune 500 companies. Excelling in the world of corporate consulting and specializing in the rare crossover between business and technology, he soon became a sought-after consultant. For the past seven years, he has worked primarily in the entertainment industry on a range of projects — from online promotion for independent music releases to large-scale financial systems integrations for major TV studios and cable networks. In private, he has been studying philosophy, psychology, comparative religions, and a variety of esoteric traditions for the last 20 years. Although he can focus on minutest detail, philip is a big-picture thinker. His focus is on integration and synthesis in all his projects. In his work with technology he has focused on enterprise integration and has, among other projects, covered an entire wing-to-wing process in television production and distribution integrating all respective financial systems. Working initially with NBC, philip would later handle the process for NBC and Universal during the merger of the two companies. In one of his latest projects, he prepared the integration of all financial systems for NBC/Universal Global Networks cable stations across multiple countries in Europe and Latin America and the integration of all international theatrical distribution systems. At the same time, philip’s personal focus has always been on synthesizing left- and right-brain aspects of his work. While on the one hand working with technology and business, he has continued to work in and foster the artistic and esoteric aspects of his being. In his coaching practice, he helps artists with business and marketing, while helping corporate staff and executives open to their creative sides. Last year he combined Six Sigma, a quality management methodology invented for improving manufacturing processes, with a six-step system he derived from Yoga, and created “Six Sigma for Your Life,” (www.sixsigmaforyourlife.com)a personal development program designed to improve the quality of life. “Six Sigma for Your Life” is just one example of philip’s creativity and capacity for innovation. In all his projects, he has introduced new concepts and ideas, and has dramatically improved processes and projects through his innovations. From designing and leading the development on several applications for the academic sector — some still in use 10 years after creation — to making financial process flows more efficient, philip has continuously brought innovation into all his work, continuously surprising his employers and clients with his ability to find novel approaches and solutions. philip holds a degree in Organizational Development and Design and Communication, and is currently finishing a Master’s degree in Transformational Psychology. He is also a certified Reiki Master Practitioner and ordained Minister. He primarily resides in Los Angeles, California. www.philiphorvath.com
