Bridge Arts Media is pleased to announce the launch an innovative new music series -- THE ART OF SOUND.
The ART OF SOUND was created to celebrate both music and the art that acompanies it... This debut album by composer No'a Winter Lazerus; AMBIENCES VOL. 1 SOUL FLOW, explores the cinematic nuances of contemporary ambient music written, designed, performed and recorded by No'a. The artwork featured in the design of the packaging is by artist Hall Ramirez. The original art piece found replicated as the CD insert is available upon request as a limited edition print. Watch for our online gallery coming soon. To purchase the CD click on image. For more information about the artists visit: www.noawinterlazerus.com & www.halkiehall.com ARTIST'S STATEMENT: “The title of this first in a collection of AMBIENCES, "Soul Flow," speaks so clearly of the nature of these compositions. Where does the art of sound come from? How is it that I am so often surprised by my own compositions when playing them back sometime after their completion, wondering who wrote them? It's "Soul Flow", the creative river, the artist and the witness, the illusion of time, the dissolution of the sublime, where "The Art of Sound" dances to music never heard.” No'a Winter Lazerus |

METASPHERE: THE ALTERED STATE OF HEART is a highly innovative creative collaboration between Bridge Arts Media with visual artist James Guy and composer Brian Thomas Lambert.
METASPHERE is art as 21st Century conscious technology. Designed as an open-eyed animeditation, the viewer can choose to entrain with the visuals and activate within themselves a feeling of body energetic awareness through following along with the movement and "story" of the piece. As each of the seven energetic power centers of the body "light up" the story unfolds a visualization of the artists' interpretation of a "kundalini" experience. It heightened my art viewing experience for the rest of the night. I bought a DVD that evening and I must say that it has enhanced my open eye mediation amazingly well. It contains an animation piece that re-aligns your chakras and moves the energy up through the heart using stunning graphics and glorious sound. It truly brings profound peace of mind especially after a stressful day. I highly recommend it for meditators and non meditators. I'm purchasing one for a friend who has difficulty meditating." - Rick Pinckert Network Administrator Computer Consultant Specialist USC Annenberg School for Communications |

A Bridge Arts Media production, Electric Aquarium is a collection of five hauntingly beautiful visual music pieces created through the collaboration of visual artist and filmmaker, V V Hsu, and composer Wayne O’Brien. Images of sea jellies become works of art through the lens of the filmmaker, augmented with deep ambient music. This visual music journey creates a relaxing and contemplative experience as one is transported through sight & sound into the mysterious beauty found beneath the sacred sea. To purchase click on image in left column. For more information visit http://electricaquarium.com Artists’ Statements:"I was at the aquarium observing the jellies… marveling, transfixed and…suddenly I realized that there was nothing on my mind! Time had stood still! I had become one with the Universe…Of course, at that very realization, I came back to the analytical thought process that so defines our reality. Here they are, as I saw them that day when I 'lost my mind.' I hope that these images will transport you to your own place of Oneness…" -VV Hsu, Visual Artist "Electric Aquarium presents the simple, yet complex beauty of raw nature. Enhancing the mood with minimalist musical soundscapes, while listening for the 'space between the notes' proved to be a very reflective and meditative journey for me in and of itself. Many thanks to the whole team for making this such a peaceful and collaborative work of art…" -Wayne O’Brien, Composer"'Sea Jellies', or 'Jellyfish' as they are sometimes called, are elegant models of simplicity. Adult jellies are almost nothing but 95% water. Their bell-shaped bodies contain just a mouth at their center, a ring of oral arms surrounding the mouth and a ring of tentacles along the edge of their bodies. Sea Jellies are truly living works of art and we hope the simplicity of their beauty inspires with you a sense of wonder and peace.” -Kate McCallum, Producer & VocalsTestimonials:"Thank you for allowing me an opportunity to see Electric Aquarium: An Ambient Visual Music Journey. It is a wonderful piece of art and a stimulating voyage for the human spirit. VV Hsu’s unique brand of filmmaking offers a hypnotic, never before seen look at one of the world’s most ancient and misunderstood creatures, the sea jelly. Time literally stands still when watching this film as the images and music transport you to a place buried deep within the recesses of the mind. The music and vocals by composer Wayne O’Brien and producer/vocalist Kate McCallum are inspirational, moving, and hauntingly bewitching. As a working film producer and writer, I have personally experienced the mystical healing properties of this film. Creativity often comes in short bursts and like most writers, I spend most of my time suffering from writer’s block. However, while listening to Electric Aquarium during one of my recent writing sessions, I experienced a profound sense of focus and serenity that literally transformed my thoughts and freed my emotions, resulting in thirty original and dramatic pages of screenwriting. I now listen to Electric Aquarium each time I write. It is with great thanks that I recommend this film to everyone seeking deep introspection, quiescence, and spiritual enlightenment." - Jonathan Amaret/Producer ERUTAN PRODUCTIONS LLC |
